If you’ve been around long enough, you know I’m more of an entrepreneur than a marketer, though I know a lot about marketing too…
…and I know you think you need a lot of tools, services and software to grow a huge business.
This is not the case at all, you don’t need much and you don’t have to invest thousands to make a lot of money.
I’m aff. linking to some of those tools, but I want you to really get the importance of them and not just be like: “he is affiliated with those companies which is why he’s offering them”.
I use them all and yes, I have sold a lot of them as an affiliate, yet the purpose of this (and all of my articles) is to really help you become who you want to be online… and not just to make a buck…
…if I wanted to promote these tools, I’d go run a few cheap paid marketing campaigns and sell as much as I want.
With that said, you can free your mind and read.
1 Autoresponder
You can build a business without a site, but you can’t build it without an autoresponder… your autoresponder is everything.
One little email makes me as much money as most people make in a year.
Most of the times people need to see an offer several times before they decide to buy (or not). An autoresponder allows you to easily capture leads, store them into lists and send them followup emails and broadcasts.
You can’t get started without an autoresponder. I use Aweber.

2 Wordfence Security
This plugin is pure gold, it has a free version and paid such… the free version is pretty solid though.
Just as I was writing this article, some fucker started spamming the crap out of my marketing agency site.
I wasn’t even going to talk about his plugin, yet after seeing how powerful it is and how much it does in terms of protection (and I think you have to protect your site the best way possible with all those fucking spammers out there getting better at defeating security), I now believe it is highly important for your site, for any site.
So, that guy was trying to login to my site using thousands of IPs from all around the world.
After reading a bit about it, I can tell you what these sons of b…es do (yeah, I’m that mad at them): they use some software that tries to login to your site using nets of IPs, and the bad part is sooner or later it succeeds if not taken care of, that’s how my site got hacked a few years ago and my hosting company had to call me to fix this problem cause their servers were overloading like crazy.
Once the attackers login, they install some files on your site and start calling them or something like that. This is pretty bad, but luckily some awesome people have made wordfense security. It lets you block those fuckers (will tell you how in a sec) and search out and delete those corrupted files.
Here’s how to block such attacks:
1 Install the plugin
2 head to the plugin’s options and under basic settings where it says “security options” select level 4, it says you will inconvenience some of your users, but don’t worry about that, everything will be fine.
3 That’s it, that’s all you have to do.
This option will fix everything for you, the attacks will stop instantly as it blocks the IPs for several days and checks to see if anyone browses too quickly through your site. They have documentation if you want more detail exactly what the plugin does.
You will see the other options when you install the plugin, here is the link to it
3 ClickFunnels
If you are, or want to get serious about your list building, then you need multiple high converting squeeze pages. Building such pages is a science, believe me, I’ve lost a lot of people until I understood designing high converting pages wasn’t my best skill LOL.
I have people building pages for me now (I use ClickFunnels too from times to times), but Clickfunnels is the best option for non tech savvy marketers.
They have a video and everything that will tell you how the platform works.

4 A blog
I get asked pretty often how a blog makes you money, since people see I write my articles to help and not to pitch.
I don’t think this is the right question to ask. A blog’s purpose is to make you popular and get you traffic to convert into leads, that’s it.
You will not become a millionaire just by blogging and pasting affiliate links in your articles.
You have to use this tool to become authority in the marketplace. You should know it takes about a year to build a powerful blog and you have to invest in the following tools if you want to succeed.
There are hundreds of thousands of people who don’t invest in them and run their blogs for fun.
That’s it, that’s all you need, I can maybe add Optinmonster as it is the most powerful lead generation plugin and maybe a tracking tool, but I think tracking can be done by looking at your bank account, that’s how I do it… I don’t care which articles are most read, or where my leads come from or whatever, all I care about is money in my bank…
…so I use my bank as a tracking tool, however you can play with clickmagick or anything like it.
Let me know if you liked this article and if you see that spammer who tried to hack me, let them know I’ll kick their ass all over the place LOL.
