Reading is almost as important as breathing… not exaggerating at all. Not only does it make you smarter, but it helps you connect with great people.
It’s not like there is a list of best books, each book is helpful in a unique way, which is why I’ll let you know what I consider must reads.
Instead of just listing them here, I created a widget to make it easier (I’m a huge fan of easy, I think it takes genius to make things simple) to go buy them on Amazon if you want… and I think you should, because these books could change your life… they changed mine.
Amazon messed up the widget and I don’t feel like creating a new one only to come back later and see it gone too… read my book until I come back and add links.
Let me show you the books first and then I’ll tell you why I love each of them.
I’ll start with Buyology: The Truth & Lies About Why We Buy
First of all, this book has the most awesome title alive and you should already know it’s all about the title… if you mess it up, no one will even bother reading or buying what you have.
Not only is the title awesome, but the book will tell you why we buy, and in a world full of everything it’s extremely important to know that if you want to make sales, or know what to buy.
Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion
If you plan on reading only one book, then you should read this book.
If you plan on building a successful business, then you should read this book.
If you plan on getting a cup of coffee, you should read this book.
Whatever you plan on doing, you should read this book.
Did I stress it enough?
I think I did. I usually laugh at my jokes (I know I’m weird), but this time I couldn’t, I really wanted to stress how awesome this book is.
If you want people to follow you, buy from you, be friends with you and like you, you need this book.
Positioning: The Battle For Your Mind
Positioning is everything nowadays, but it’s not what most think it is. It’s not renting cars and posting pics driving them on FB to attract prospects. It’s not pretending to be the best, or the richest, or whatever, this book will really tell you what it is.
Do I need to explain why?
I will only say Steve Jobs was pisces just like I am, and us – pisces are the coolest, though some people don’t really understand our idealistic views.
Anyway, you should read this book if you haven’t yet, Steve Jobs was one of the most amazing people ever lived and his life and what he did should be taught in school.
Losing My Virginity” How I Survived, Had Fun And Made a Fortune Doing Business My Way
If there is anybody as interesting as Steve Jobs, it’s Sir Richard Branson.
Losing my virginity is an amazing book that could be a business book, an adventure book, how to raise your kids book, a sales book, and like 20 more types of books all in one.
