I don’t have a picture of my bimmer (still have it but gave it to my mom), but it is just like this one, only it’s dark blue.
I’m so glad you came to this article, I’m not kidding at all. If only I’d had someone tell me what I’m about to with this blog post, I’d have been rich at 5 LOL…
I’m not complaining though, I got rich pretty early, also lost my company pretty early and am happy all that happened, cause I learned a lot.
What the heck is lifestyle marketing?
I’ll tell you how I first learned about it at 18 in a sec, but first I should warn you your whole belief system will change, you will also know the secret behind all the fortunes made in this world…
…and I mean all of them.
I’m not saying I know the secret, or maybe I do… damn, haven’t thought about that LOL.
No seriously, the world is at a point all that matters to make sales and become as rich as you want is lifestyle marketing… I called it jealousy marketing a few posts ago, people don’t call it that cause lifestyle marketing sounds way less douchey… you should know it’s the same thing.
You should also know everyone who makes a ton of money does it… anyone in marketing at least.
I accidentally understood what it was at 18, or maybe I was 19, when I got a bimmer which led to everybody becoming friends with me, and I mean everybody, even those who didn’t like me at all, and also to starting my first company that made me a millionaire at 22.
Back then I was like:
‘what the f… is wrong with this world?’
…but it was what it was. Instead of feeling bad the world was that material and people were sad, I learned how to leverage lifestyle marketing to make as much sales as I want, you should do that too.
I got the bimmer and all the sudden people were coming to me with business ideas (although I bought the car with money I had made working two jobs). I knew nothing about business, yet people assumed I did since I drove such a car (this bimmer was the real deal in the 90s), they wanted to have coffee with me and I became popular because of that car.
This was the moment I realized no one actually cared what type of person I was, but what I had. I know this is sad, I’m still recovering from that finding, yet as I already said – people have always been like that.
I know it might be hard to believe everybody is that mercantile, but just think about Facebook for a sec and what people post… everybody shows off with whatever they have.
So the bimmer led to starting my first company that made me a few millions in several years (I also lost that company and everything in 2011 and started online), and I realized it was all about showing people you had stuff – cars, houses, even clothes, to make them buy whatever you sell…
…and I really understood this was the case when I lost everything in 2011, got back to square one and everybody disappeared. It was like some kind of magic, I had everything – money, friends, cars etc. and the next moment not only was the wealth gone but the friends too.
It’s not like they did not want to meet or anything, they just weren’t calling, no one needed me when I had nothing.
I said to myself:
fuck this (sorry I couldn’t hold it), this was all a big lesson for me (cause I’d been giving money away left and right, cause I thought I had friends, besides I like helping), I’ll just take what I can from it and become rich again.
Won’t lie to you though, I was feeling pretty bad for a while, it’s not that cool to find everybody is friends with you just for some benefit and not for the friendship… and the bad thing is people are becoming more like that.
Why am I telling you all this?
Cause this is directly related to lifestyle marketing. The more people care about money and cars, the more you showing money and cars to those people will result in sales for you… no matter what you sell.
How does lifestyle marketing work?
Ever since Facebook and the invading of social media, it’s been a bit easier to market via showing houses, cars, watches, huge checks and the like… you don’t even have to have it, you can just borrow a car, take a few snapshots and post them on FB, you will be amazed at the results it would bring.
I know you might not like it, but it works like magic.
Cars tend to attract the most attention, though a nice house will do too… which is why all those sales videos you see online were recorded in huge houses with pools and stuff.
Watches work well too, yet flashy gold watches tend to attract people who want to get rich fast without working, while nice brands attract entrepreneurs… basically, it is about showing wealth without being too much of a douche (if it’s possible).
You won’t be liked by everyone doing so, but you will sell like crazy.
Let me know if you liked this post, you ROCK!
