Social media traffic is all the rage right now, just like article directories were a few years ago.
Then Google Plus came along, and although it wasn’t the expected success, the game totally changed.
let’s start with You Tube
You Tube marketing is pretty straight forward – you crate an awesome video and get loads of views and followers. The more crazy videos you create, the more followers you will get and the more famous you will become.
It’s not about having the most expensive equipment, or the biggest house to use for video shoots, but about being entertaining.

…I want to go a bit deeper and tell you how Facebook marketing really works. I think you have to know how social media works before you get into pages and groups.
How to connect with more people on Facebook
The real way to get more friends and followers is by becoming rich… or showing you are rich, plus uplifting people. I know how it sounds, but that’s what people care about. Everybody wants to hangout with the cool kids…
…just like in real life – when you are rich, people are next to you, when you are down, there’s no one around… yah, that happened to me, everybody disappeared when I lost everything, I can’t lie to you, it wasn’t fun, but I had to move on.
Chasing people around along with promoting is not gonna get you too great results… neither will sending messages and friending everybody you see.
You should know though it might take some time to get results, Facebook is not a direct traffic tool, unless you run paid ads.
I don’t have much time for twitter, but I login from time to time to see what’s what, as it’s more real time.
You should post a lot as news pass by quickly on Twitter, but you still have to post fun stuff… if you only post promotional tweets each hour, you can’t expect too great results.
Twitter is mainly for conversations and trending news… I’d suggest you get a VA (virtual assistant) or a tool to manage your account, as it will take you too much time to do it on your own.

This one is a bit different… it’s mainly used by Google lovers, and they are most often tech geeks who are not that social and don’t like the regular time killing shit.
You can get great result there if you post something worth reading, like for example, an in depth article about SEO or stuff like that…
…but it’s still a social network, you can also post fun pictures, uplifting quotes, entertaining videos etc.

I still get some traffic from Stumble upon, but it’s nothing that crazy, plus their traffic is not the best, I don’t think you have to waste time with it, maybe if you have the resource, but leverage Facebook and the rest first… they have enough traffic.
I know it sounds a bit trivial, but it is being consistent that will get you social media traffic… it seriously is posting cool stuff over an extended period of time that starts attracting people to you.
