Just played one awesome song and got pumped (I love music more than breathing, will share the song at the end of the article), decided to write another one of those articles, you know, that I can charge for if I wanted…
…was that too cocky?
Sorry, I do that from time to time LOL, but the article is still killer, like the one I showed you 6 ways to get traffic in unlimited quantities, here are 7 more that are even more badass… and no, they won’t be forum posting or commenting or anything you can read almost everywhere (that is close to useless), they will actually be worth doing:
1 Become a sexy marketer
let me ask you a question:
Do you know what gets the most traffic?
If you answered SEO, or PPC, you were very wrong.
It’s your name, your sexiness… that’s right, my blog gets a ton of traffic because people trust me and like me and my style, they read the blog because they know I don’t talk bullshit and write to help.
Do you know why people buy from me?
It’s not because I write possibly the most awesome articles online (people usually charge for such articles), no, I sell because of the same reason – people know me, like me and trust me… they stick around and come back to the blog because they want to have the same results.
People don’t go to blogs to just read the best content anymore (which explains why most popular blogs publish crap, but still get a ton of traffic), they visit blogs to meet someone sexy, someone who’ve already achieved what they want and will show them how to do the same.
This is what creates the most traffic – YOU, and only you
What is more sexy?
Being a millionaire at 22, or working in a cubical?
You know who will get more traffic… the first guy.
But it’s not necessarily money that make you sexy (although it helps a lot), it is your attitude. You can adjust it right this moment and start getting as much traffic as you want.
2 Build a community, not an email list
No one likes to be spammed with affiliate deals all the time… people don’t even have the time to browse through everything they receive nowadays.
Don’t focus on getting leads no matter what (although you should get lots of leads), focus on building a community.
What do I mean?
People don’t like joining lists, they like joining communities, they like being a part of something cool… I’m gonna quote somebody here, as they are one of the few people who can build a community in a day (will save their name though):
If you tell cool stories and sell yourself, you’ll make some sales. If you tell cool stories and also give away valuable content, that’s when you’ll start making A LOT of sales.
Value and attractiveness.
The two metrics of success as an email marketer. Start a blog of some kind, send your subscribers to blog posts. Most people don’t like reading emails for half an hour.
Will leave this one right here, as it can’t be said better.
3 Facebook PPC
Facebook traffic is so cheap I don’t think you would ever need another PPC platform… and even if it’s not search traffic, who cares when you can get 2 cent clicks. I used to like 7 search too, yet now Bing is the new cheap search ads platform.
Anyway, PPC is the fastest way get results… might be the cheapest too having in mind how much competition there is nowadays and how you can beat them fast by having a bigger marketing budget.
Think about it:
1 Invest 2k in PPC and turn it into 4k in, let’s say, 4 months
2 Don’t invest anything and make 4k (maybe not) in 4 years (this is the option almost everybody chooses, as they don’t like and/or understand investing)
Which is better?
That’s for you to decide
4 Social Media
You know you have to get social traffic… but how?
It’s again about being sexy.
Social media is all about popularity, it’s not about posting on schedule, it’s not about posting value, it’s again about being sexy.
Let me show you something
I’m not a huge fan of social media and I log in just to check out what is happening from time to time… so I don’t get a lot of likes, shares and the like, cause I don’t post that much and don’t have that many friends…
… but take a look at this photo:
…every now and then I post something like this… and the likes and comments I get don’t even matter that much, because the following happens:
People start emailing me, reaching out on Fb asking what’s up, they get to my sites (I track everything), get on my list and basically know I’m the guy to be around.
Imagine what would happen if I posted my car or some badass photo of some of the places I go… I think you get me, but I don’t do it, as I have never liked showing off, I like building assets, like this blog.
You can see how powerful social media is… and it’s not just Facebook, you can build a G+ community and get boat loads of traffic from it, you can leverage Reddit (there is a certain group of people who still hang out there, I like Reddit too, even though back when I was starting with online marketing they banned me and I had to open a new account, I did not know what I was doing back then LOL).
5 Promote offline
I’m pretty sure you have forgotten about the good old business cards.
How do I know?
I know cause sometimes I myself, always being on the computer, forget about the world out there… which is why I try to not even touch the computer on weekends, except for checking out my bank of course LOL.
Business cards, taxi cab signs, even a sign on the back window of your car, small billboards, basically whatever you can afford (here are 101 ways to advertise), are all awesome ways to promote offline, just do it.
6 Create Guides
People love guides, when I started the blog I created a guide how to create wealth, it was nothing special, just about 10 articles what to do to grow your business the right way like getting a team to help, reinvesting your money etc. I even created a marketing plan and squeezed it in there (you might wanna go check it out) and it got me a ton of traffic.
I haven’t done this since then, I might do it again if I have time to create the guide.
7 Leverage Unsubscribers
This one will really shock you, so get ready.
Ready?
Good
Here’s what to do to get people who unsubscribe come back to your blog.
People usually think of unsubscribes as something lost, but that’s a mistake… I started getting traffic this way since this one time a guy was disappointed with an email I had sent out (it was a review of the company they were in, and the company was a joke, that’s why) and unsubscribed…
…but they left a comment, something like this:
reason for unsubscribing:
“amateur article writing”
…and I did not just ignore them and said:
“what the heck, f… this guy, I don’t need them anyway”
…no, instead i emailed them back this:
“and it took you 1.5 years to see that LOL?
Sorry if you are a Dubli fan and I pushed your buttons…
at least now you know it sucks.
Thanks anyway,
appreciate your feedback.
PS Have an awesome day and stop by
the blog to let me know what I need to do
make it not amateur
Vladi 🙂 ”
They had been on my list for almost two years and wrote me that dumb comment, it was obvious they liked me, but got upset about being in a shitty company… anyway, they visited my blog about 5 more times after I emailed them back…
…and this my friend is how you unlose (just made up this word, I think) traffic.
Boy, have this become a long post or what?
I’m gonna end it here, but let me first share that song: Dave Stewart – Zombie (Cover), I just love this guy, he has that whiskey voice you don’t hear that often.
Alright let’s finish, let me know what you think about this article and stay awesome!
